~ Managed a sensitive investigation into a highly respected Paediatrician accused of sexual abuse of a young boy, interviewing the victim, witnesses and accused. Prepared and executed search warrants for evidence seizure at the Doctor’s office culminating in laying charges against the Physician.~ Crown stayed the charges to protect the victim from cross-examination allowing the Doctor to continue to practice.~ Reopened the file after another victim came forward 4 years later, using the original case as facts evidence.

Rapidly promoted through various positions from Court Officer to a Constable serving at 41 and 42 Divisions and as a Detective Constable in the Youth Services Unit. Selected accomplishments include:~ Laid over 40 charges during a 2 week period, completing the investigation from community complaints about street level sex trade workers based on 3 stages: identifying offenders, apprehending offenders and apprehending persons looking for services of sex trade workers.~ Utilized confidential sources to assist the Major Crime Unit investigate a break-in at a Police Officers’ home where police issued ammunition and body armour was stolen. Contributed to recovery of the stolen police property and removal of a potentially dangerous situation.~ Influential lead during the investigation of multiple crimes including homicide, theft, break-ins and armed gangs, working with peers in multiple units to successfully conclude investigations.
