About Alan Campbell

I have extensive sales, marketing and brand management experience, having worked with some of South Africa’s leading brands over the course of my career. In addition to being involved in numerous sales, marketing and branding projects, I have been personally responsible for the conception, initiation and implementation of a variety of business growth strategies that have included business planning, brand development and change management. I began my career as Assistant Sales Manager at Planet Fitness and worked my way up to become Training Manager and later, Sales Manager. I was headhunted several times by competing health and fitness groups and was eventually sought out by Pro Range (Pty) Ltd to take on the position of Regional Sales Manager. I remained with the company for over ten years, becoming its Chief Executive Officer and more recently, a non-executive Director. As Group Brand Manager for Premier Hotels & Resorts, I was instrumental in re-engineering the Group’s digital strategy and overseeing the relaunch of its loyalty programme, its online reputation management, the development of a mobile app and the brand’s refresh, amongst others. As a Director for ANEW Hotels & Resorts, I look after Sales, Marketing and Revenue. I have the privilege of working with a passionate team of innovators and doers, dedicated to making a difference in every client experience.
