In my role as an Application Specialist I take ownership for conducting reviews of business applications in accordance with risk objectives. Demonstrating effective stakeholder management skills, I build understandings of application criticalities, engaging cross functionally to draw on perspectives of various stakeholders to capture and document holistic views of applications to agreed deadlines. I take responsibility for identifying compliance gaps, measuring system risks, understanding application usage, presenting rationales to management, updating business records and gaining agreement for remediation strategies which I track to their conclusion. With a passion for data and insights and a desire to expand their technical proficiencies I have recently completed a Level 3 Data & Insights Apprenticeship. Armed with this motivation and the technical skills within Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power BI, I have a strong track record of using my abilities to create innovative solutions that deliver stronger business outcomes, facilitating the analysis of trends and insights which I have utilised to provide detailed analysis reports. I have employed these creations effectively to provide workflow management, providing comparison against prior month’s data, advising on pertinent issues, notable data trends and supplying feedback and coaching to colleagues to drive optimal performance.
