Key accomplishments:Deliver consistent world class metrics each quarter across all back office functions and drive operational improvement.Moved 77% of the 800 headcount to best cost locations like India, Slovakia, Penang and Casablanca over 3.5 years and reduced headcount by 25%.Drove process effectiveness and tool standardisation.Develop leadership ability in the EMEA teams and develop a sustained controls environment which building a great place to work for finance professionals. EMEA Manufacturing Financial Director (Nov 1999 to December 2003)Responsible for 6 direct staff, total team size 30 people, reporting to the VP Finance and VP Manufacturing and supporting a $13billion manufacturing site. Key accomplishments:Reduced costs to compete with the Far East, closed 2 sites and reduced headcount by over 50% and costs by 70% whilst volumes more than doubled from the site in that period.Developed and implemented a successful Rotation policy for the 100+ finance staff on site in 2000 which has been crucial to developing finance careers on site.
