As the U.S. Navy’s equivalent to a civilian general counsel, served as the Officer-in-Charge and sole Counsel to the nation’s premier air-to-air combat training facility and the largest employer and economic generator of the Florida Keys. Practiced a vast array of litigious and transactional legal areas, including environmental, real estate, and land use law, labor law, ethics counseling, administrative law, civilian and military criminal justice. Increased office productivity over 200% in the number of client matters and successful results. Executed independent legal analysis and decision-making for a remote and isolated installation.

Defense Attorney/ Branch Head. Responsible for defending service members in military criminal courts-martial and administrative separation matters, including rape, child pornography, and complicated computer and fiscal crimes. Keen attention to detail and meticulous case analysis and preparation produced favorable results, beyond the typical jurisprudence for the charged offense, in high-visibility and complex cases. Took command as Office Branch Head in late 2008, supervising two attorneys and five staff members, doubling productivity.Legal Assistance Attorney. Served as sole attorney in operating the Navy’s equivalent of a legal aid clinic for service members, retirees, and their families. Significantly increased office productivity, number of clients matters, and cases resolved.
