At the time Juno was the second company to trade on the Frankfurt based DTB from London.• Developed systems in C, Tcl and Tk to extract market information from DTB Motif based trading screens, and to simulate user input by sending key strokes back automatically to those applications, allowing a more automated trading environment.• Administered company network of 30 PC’s with OS/2 (2.0 through Warp Connect)/Windows, performing PC hardware upgrades, etc., as needed. • Administered IBM RS/6000’s running AIX, two located remotely in Frankfurt (via leased circuits), and a number of PC X Server’s and PC’s running Linux, and the Cisco routers connecting them. Provided constant help desk support for traders, accounting and other trading staff in a mission critical environment. Liaison with exchange staff over system and API upgrades.
