I build, optimize, and scale products, people, and systems. As part of a larger and incredible team at CrowdStrike, we grew customers from ~50 to 11k; a TAM of $8B to $43B; ARR from $70M to $1.2B; Gross Margins from 36% to 79%; and an NPS score which all but a dozen companies would wish for.My early background was in NSFNet Internet, then backbone ISP. I later focused on optimizing Internet paths and for the last 10 years manage systems in public and private clouds.Culture and Economics provide the inputs for making a great team that produces great products!

Founder/CtoFast Data Delivery Jul 2011 - Mar 2012Researched and abandoned a plan to move TB of data between datacenters using large RAID arrays in shippable containers (e.g. 8U tall). Great idea, sort of similar to what AWS's Snowball becamse, in our case we found that customers weren't willing to pay to move the data quickly, in many cases they'd either move the full racks using a truck that drove overnight; or slowly move the data over the Internet or dedicated lines. Trucks were faster then upload/fedex/download, and Internet was cheaper...
