I'm a full-stack engineer with experience in SaaS and e-commerce with a special focus on rapid development and go to market strategies. Currently, as the Head of Program Management, I oversee and provide technical solutions to accelerate OneDegree's diversified insurance business. By collecting quantitative and unstructured data across our claims, underwriting, finance and other operational teams, we cast a wide foundation for our data analytics. We apply techniques in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, etc., and return analytics with actionable insights that drive revenue.Sleep Wooven is my online store with a focus on operational automation. We preferentially hire the disabled and elderly. With the right technical assistance, their productivity and experience can match and exceed that of a regular workforce. The finest moment of an engineer is to see their work make actual improvements in the world. Technology just doesn't get any better than creating a sustainable career for the marginalized.Outside my professional life, I am also active in human rights advocacy, in particular for the LGBTQ and asylum seeker communities. I have led our ministry team to win the prestigious LGBT+ Inclusion Awards for BMCC, our inclusive church. This recognizes our efforts among corporations to educate the public on the reality of life's diverse and beautiful gender identities. I can be seen giving talks at university classes, public events, and other venues on this topic. With our influence, we aim to ban public funding and bring awareness to the harms of sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE a.k.a conversion therapy).We continue to provide support and act as a safe harbor for children and adults affected.
