Help with an international student's transition into the College of Charleston campus. Help students get accustomed to student life and culture at the college, and help with any setbacks that they might have. Usually commit to connecting with student at least 1 hour per week, to check-up on them, explore the campus more, and support them with any problems that they might have.

Collaborated with community partners to help create and plan recurring service events for the Bonner Leader Program and the greater College of Charleston community. Service components included education, direct service, and reflection to fully engage and connect students with certain aspects of the Charleston community.

As a Residential Assistant, I worked with students and helped them with their transition into the College of Charleston and their dorm life.

Worked as an intern for Lutheran Services Carolinas, a refugee resettlement center located in North Charleston. Helped with the World Refugee Day Festival, creation of weekly newsletters, and facilitating connections with other community partners in order to support the program and its refugee clients.

Worked as an AVID tutor for ESOL students at Deer Park Middle School. Tutored students in Spanish and helped them with subjects such as math, science, and history. Within this job, I actively collaborated with teachers and the school's ESOL teacher to promote communication between students and their teachers, along with performance in classes.
