Economics is a passion of mine. When I started school in the fall semester, I wanted more than anything to finish my degree. However, I discovered my passion for economics in this semester, particularly behavioral economics. Humans behaved in a way that deviated from economic theory. Within the bounds of economic theory, people are not completely rational. Therefore, behavioral economics came into existence. Then, I began to question: Economics have been around for decades analyzing numerous industries; however, when applied to humans, it is not as accurate. Economics has taken situations in industries and created a path to define reliable and ethical decision-making opportunities. Would it then be possible to take a human behavior situation and define variables to test what is the optimal marginal utility for a human? What direction would this lead to? I am looking to research the the behavior of people through economic means and transcend normal human behavior through configuring through the means of economics! It is my dream to conduct research to improve human civilization to be prone in assessing: Is this optimal? My inspiration was from the author of "Misbehaving", Richard Thaler.
