Worked on a special call centre for a new system being launched by american express business travel. Was available to help with any technical queries from clients in relation to troubleshooting in setting up their internet travel profiles. Escalating problems that were beyond my jurisdiction to resolve.

I worked as a ski holiday representative in the resorts of Val Thorens and Les Menuires , France for the Winter 2006 Season.This was certainly a challenging but enjoyable experience. I had never skied before this and was a great opportunity to jump in the deep end and learn a lot of new skill sets.Duties included:Pre Season checks of accommodations, setting rates and liaising with ski hire shops, ski schools and lift pass offices.Preparing an Aprés ski ski programme and welcome packs with up to date information for all guest arriving on resort. And information books for all properties.Responsible for transferring guests on a weekly basis to and from Geneva airport, Switzerland. giving a welcome information speech and getting guests checked into their relevant accommodations.Being available 24 hours a day if my guests needed me, presenting myself 1 hour in the evenings in selected properties as per my call by timetable in their welcome packs in case any guest have queries or need my assistance, and being on the slopes in the mornings for an hour or two..Ensuring all guests make their first ski school lesson and get the correct equipment and lift passes as prebooked by the call centre or travel agencies. and booking any Aprés ski packages requested.Taking note of all customer queries and complaints on resort as they occurred and resolving them to the customers high expectations.Finally efficiently sorting of my Accounts and supplying weekly ski, Incident and snow reports to Head Office.

I Felt it was extremely important to have an outlet for Gay Lesbian Bisexual & Transgender College attendees to meet and socialise and also a resource for information on LGB topics and provided information on coming out and parent coping guides to give an example. We also attended many university LGB events and made important network connections with LGB societies in Ireland. Well as outings to the UK.
