My research mainly focuses on Circularly Polarized Photoluminescence of low deminsional hybrid organic-inorganic semiconductors and perovskites and building new optical setups. I also use a variety of other spectroscopies to study various material systems such as UV-vis Absorption, Circular Dichroism, and Raman Scattering.

I worked on a multidisciplinary collaborative team of undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty through the College of Engineering titled Microdrones for Atmospheric Sensing. I contributed to the design of a physical mechanism to deliver the drones from a launch vehicle, and I also learned to use and program microcontrollers to control the motor mechanism.

For two semesters, I studied radiation effects in spin-based devices as a part of the Sih Research Group at the University of Michigan. I primarily performed literature research on radiation damage in semiconductors and on radiation environments spin-based devices may encounter (earth orbits and near nuclear reactors).
