I'm now involved in real estate more specifically buying and working out mortgage notes secured by real estate. Once a note is re-performing, it may be available for others' retirement investing. It was very rewarding to help companies identify where they were hemorrhaging profits and learn how to becomre more profitable.I am a recovering CPA, CMA. That means that I am serious about working with operating management to improve business operations and not simply enforcing financial policies.I advocate Activity-Based Costing(ABC or ABCM) because it creates a framework to follow the trail of cause-and-effect to improve operating results.
