Responsible for the implementation of a new Opel Vauxhall Finance anti-money laundering (AML) solution across Europe. The project scope included identifying and on-boarding the supplier, managing the financial, legal and overall design aspects or the solution and successfully deploying to 6 European countries. Working closely with the project sponsors, finance, compliance, end users, 3rd party suppliers and the supplier, I have delivered a solution, with a mix of COTS products and bespoke system development, to meet the highly complex business requirements. The project has been delivered within agreed timescales and budget. Delivering this business changing project in a new architecture, the role also included the following responsibilities:• Successfully identifying and engaging with suppliers to complete a full supplier RFP and on-boarding process.• Recruitment of a project team including business analysts, data analysts and engagement with existing internal technical teams to enable the solution to be defined, designed, provisioned, tested and delivered to business operations.• Full budget management including Investment committee engagement and finance approval.• Full project planning management utilising SDLC methodologies.• Engagement of senior management and stakeholders through the use of regular reporting, steering committees, change boards and team management reviews.• Continual management of suppliers to ensure resources, finances and solution delivery remain on track and to plan• Consultancy with project management office and in-house project management staff to define business project delivery framework.
