Engineering interface to the Customer. • Special Project, 2015: Traveled to the UTAS German subsidiary to audit the Quality system and train associates for the Material Review Board (MRB) for transition of a product line.• Restructured a company-wide procedure to improve processing of release documents, saving approximately $500K/year.• MRB (Material Review Board) Engineering Lead, analyzed non-conformances for acceptability to the Customer. Processed hundreds of NCM items per year to support production schedules. Focus on electromechanical and supplier-designed components.• Collaborated with MRB QE for proper disposition on NCM (non-conforming material). Led a group of 4 engineers, working to develop SDE (Supplier Designed Equipment - Sensors, Valves, Filters, functional components): ERJ-170, A380, F/A-18 E/F AESA, 787-8.• Authored the 787-8 GTR Document (General Technical Requirements) which provided all the general Customer flowdown requirements from Boeing. Resulted in savings of hundreds of pages in each of the many individual procurement specifications, which improved the processing and review time of these documents. Received Group Level Award for this document.• MRB (Material Review Board) Engineering Lead, analyzed non-conformances for acceptability to the Customer. Focus on electromechanical and supplier components. • Collaborated with MRB QE for proper dispositions. • Mentored the new QE replacement from my previous position.
