Interface to the Customers and Suppliers for the A380 engine program and the FT4000/FT8 Electrical power generation system. This position requires coordination of the program, engineering, and quality functions throughout the company to assure that the Engines and components are compliant to all the regulatory and performance requirements.

SIPT (System Integrated Project Team) Project Engineer for the CH-53K development program and F/A-18 sustaining program. Engineering interface to the Customer. • Special Project, 2015: Traveled to the UTAS German subsidiary to audit the Quality system and train associates for the Material Review Board (MRB) for transition of a product line.• Restructured a company-wide procedure to improve processing of release documents, saving approximately $500K/year.• MRB (Material Review Board) Engineering Lead, analyzed non-conformances for acceptability to the Customer. Processed hundreds of NCM items per year to support production schedules. Focus on electromechanical and supplier-designed components.• Collaborated with MRB QE for proper disposition on NCM (non-conforming material). Presented Drawings, Reports, and Data Items to the Customer and led workshops to help the Customer understand the content of these documents. Coordinated information with other UTAS business units and teams. APU, Starters, Electronics. • Negotiated Customer approvals of engineering change and non-conformance documentation to Internal and External Customers - EC’s, CAD’s, SRI’s, and NCM for Legacy AMS and coordinating with other business units within AMS. • F/A-18 EF SIPT Project Engineer. Project required participating and coordinating deep dive investigations of Customer technical issues, returned product and writing or coordinating Failure Analyses (FENR’s) as appropriate. • Loaned out to 787 Project Engineering team as a temporary deputy to the Chief Engineer on the 787-8/-9 program.• Expert user of DOORS™ for Customer requirements flowdown, including writing of Procurement Specifications, and ATP’s.

Led a group of 4 engineers, working to develop SDE (Supplier Designed Equipment - Sensors, Valves, Filters, functional components): ERJ-170, A380, F/A-18 E/F AESA, 787-8.• Authored the 787-8 GTR Document (General Technical Requirements) which provided all the general Customer flowdown requirements from Boeing. Resulted in savings of hundreds of pages in each of the many individual procurement specifications, which improved the processing and review time of these documents. Received Group Level Award for this document.• MRB (Material Review Board) Engineering Lead, analyzed non-conformances for acceptability to the Customer. Focus on electromechanical and supplier components. • Collaborated with MRB QE for proper dispositions. • Mentored the new QE replacement from my previous position.

Customer interface for Customer Returns (CRM’s) and NCM activity.• Analyzed NCM as a QE on the MRB to assure root cause and corrective action is determined and implemented.• Analyzed NCM as a QE on the FPRB (Frozen Process Review Board) – Part of the Flight Safety Program at UTAS. • Analyzed Customer Returned Material for failure mode and corrective action. Answered Customer and end user (airline and military depot) squawks.• Passed DMIR training in OK City for the FAA.
