Engineering interface to the Customer. • Special Project, 2015: Traveled to the UTAS German subsidiary to audit the Quality system and train associates for the Material Review Board (MRB) for transition of a product line.• Restructured a company-wide procedure to improve processing of release documents, saving approximately $500K/year.• MRB (Material Review Board) Engineering Lead, analyzed non-conformances for acceptability to the Customer. Processed hundreds of NCM items per year to support production schedules. Focus on electromechanical and supplier-designed components.• Collaborated with MRB QE for proper disposition on NCM (non-conforming material). Presented Drawings, Reports, and Data Items to the Customer and led workshops to help the Customer understand the content of these documents. Coordinated information with other UTAS business units and teams. APU, Starters, Electronics. • Negotiated Customer approvals of engineering change and non-conformance documentation to Internal and External Customers - EC’s, CAD’s, SRI’s, and NCM for Legacy AMS and coordinating with other business units within AMS. • F/A-18 EF SIPT Project Engineer. Project required participating and coordinating deep dive investigations of Customer technical issues, returned product and writing or coordinating Failure Analyses (FENR’s) as appropriate. • Loaned out to 787 Project Engineering team as a temporary deputy to the Chief Engineer on the 787-8/-9 program.• Expert user of DOORS™ for Customer requirements flowdown, including writing of Procurement Specifications, and ATP’s.
