▶ An experienced Sales and Marketing Director in the rainscreen cladding industry. Skilled in Sales Management, Cladding, Rainscreen Cladding, Cladding Remediation, Facade Fire Safety, Construction, Management, and Problem Solving. Alan started his working life when he entered his father's automotive paint and consumables business, APW (Chippenham), in 2001, where he worked his way up from serving customers on the trade-counter, to field sales management for the company. In June 2008 Alan joined Valcan® as Sales Director and serviced the UK rainscreen cladding industry with Fairview's flagship product, Vitrabond®. He has been with the company ever since, contributing to its exponential growth in the sector and the introduction of many new A1 and A2 rated quality products. Alongside his primary role of Sales Director, he leads the research and development team for products. With a wealth of technical knowledge and considerable experience in the rainscreen facade market, Alan is a hands-on director and regularly visits customers and specifiers - an aspect of his role he enjoys very much!
