It is transformed by bespoke innovation and proven change management approaches.In my personal journey, I have been privileged to serve as the Founder and Lead of the Optum Advisory Pediatric Practice.; Co-founder of the Optum Center for Health Equity; Co-developer of a proprietary patient - provider compatibility matching algorithm app to enhance patient-provider satisfaction and reduce provider burnout; Co-developer of a market-first advanced analytic capability for rare and complex diseases. I am privileged to provide consulting and leadership to provider, payer, life sciences, and community organizations as we partner to make a difference in our generation and for generations to come.I began my career as a primary care physician in an underserved community but spent the majority of my clinical career in critical and emergency care. Early in my journey, I was privileged to move into key leadership and executive roles. These roles included: Medical Director, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital; Medical Director, Medical Center Pediatric Service, Cook Children’s Medical Center: President & CEO, Cook Children’s Physician Network; and President, Cook Children’s Health Plan.
