Why "Continuity Planning"? Having the correct life insurance, disability insurance, and critical illness insurance is essential. But when somebody dies, they are gone. It is their family or business associates that need continuity in their lives. When somebody is disabled, of course they need income, but their family and business associates are also affected, and need continuity. A good plan takes into consideration aspects other than just insurance. It involves legal documents such as a will and Power of Attorney. A good plan means making sure that your close circle knows in advance what will happen if death or disability occurs. We generate revenue by placing insurance, but as a service and as part of completing the planning process, we encourage and facilitate the other aspects of finalizing a complete plan. Programs I have arranged include special disability insurance plans for the Ambulance Paramedics of B.C., the Directors Guild of Canada, IATSE 669, the British Columbia Anesthesiologists Association, the B.C. Orthopedic Surgeons Association, and the Cardio-Vascular Surgeons and Cardiologists of Vancouver. For lawyers, I have arranged and negotiated special disability insurance packages for the Crown Counsel of British Columbia, the Legal Services Branch of British Columbia, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
