I am an educator, writer of humor, occasional movie extra, former musician, pandemic survivor, and lover of learning. I have interests in mental health, comedy, and travel. Without my reading glasses, I have an exactly 50% chance of plugging in a USB cable correctly the first time.I teach STEM, Coding and Design at the elementary school level. We do all sorts of fun projects like building balloon rockets, testing gliders, designing prosthetic hands, playing with circuits, various instant challenges and coding. I also work as a professional learning specialist for Amplify. I train teachers on-site and remotely the ins and outs of our Amplify Science platform.Earlier in my career I taught music for ten years and previously worked in radio and television. I tend to gravitate toward creative pursuits and am always looking forward to the next challenge.
