This was undertaken as the 'Polar Vision' expedition in 2011 - 2012, where a team of 4 successfully skied the 600 + miles to the South Poole, arriving 3 January 2012. Over $30,000 was raised for sight related causes, as well as filming a documentary at www.polar-vision.org
