Advisory Board MemberMakerspace Central Nov 2024 - PresentI am happy to announce that I have joined Makerspace Central here in Columbus, OH, as a Member of their Advisory Board. Makerspace Central is an innovative start-up non-profit organization dedicated to reaching out to untapped and underserved K-12 students with a variety of hands-on afterschool STEM and STEAM workshops. We are introducing science and technology to a whole new generation with the goal to have fun while learning. The objective is to identify and develop the next generation of engineers and scientists! We work through community organizations, school districts, and grant-funded sponsors to impact students. There is a huge need currently and into the future in the workforce for more STEM workers. We also focus on Girls in STEM to increase the number of young women working in the STEM community. -

It's a wonderful group of 40-50 men who enjoy singing and performing 4-part a cappella barbershop style songs for community groups, companies, and for special celebrations. We are part of the BHS Barbershop Harmony Society. We also compete regionally and internationally against other men's choruses from around the country! Our chapter has been in existence now for 70 years!
