Working on a project to migrate 700,000 active users from Microsoft HMC 3.5 (Hosted Exchange 2003) to the Office 365 cloud. Some typical day to day duties involved:- Writing complex scripts in VBS/LDAP/MSSQL/PowerShell to manipulate many tens of thousands of Active Directory accounts at a time- Performing configuration and email routing changes in Office 365/FOPE to ensure mailflow remains uninterrupted during the migration process- Troubleshooting and resolving migration issues- Providing both high level and detailed status reports to the project team on our progress. During the course of the project I automated many of our BAU tasks. - Liaising with the project managers, business representatives and 3rd party vendors to ensure the migration progressed smoothly and all key stakeholders were correctly informed- Assist the Exchange Platform team with the design of their Exchange 2010 solution including High Availability and Disaster Recovery planning
