The Detroit Regional Partnership is an economic development nonprofit serving Southeast Michigan’s 11-county region. Founded in 2019 by a group of business and philanthropic CEOs, the organization is laser focused on marketing the region to out-of-state and international companies to attract investments and jobs.

The Detroit Regional Chamber Business Attraction team has transited into the new Detroit Regional Partnership. Destination Detroit (Detroit Regional Chamber) is North America’s premier regional business attraction team. We bring together all the resources of one of America’s fastest-growing locations. That means domestic and global businesses can count on us when looking for success in the 11 counties and 7,000 square miles that make up the Detroit region.

At the City of Novi, I had the pleasure of leading an economic development team that dedicates efforts to all business types. From Industrial and retail, the team developed strategies to ensure consistent and strategic growth within the local economy. Working with state and local partners, we ensured that companies received the services and programs that met their needs.

At Oakland County, I had the role of developing and leading the global efforts of business attraction, business retention, and cross-cultural exchange. With over 1,000 international firms from 40 different countries, the opportunities for continued advancement in our international economy is great. This role included: staff management, policy development, development of attraction strategies, international travel globally, global presentations, etc. The position didn't only focus on the business aspects of international companies but also the development of programs that foster the international community that makes Oakland County diverse. These programs ranged from the introduction of the United States and our cultural assets to helping individuals find the personal aptitude to be successful in our community. In addition to the management aspects of this role, I continued to work on projects that ensured that our local and state economy is one that grows effectively as an international hub of excellence.

At Oakland County, I assisted companies located in and seeking to establish in the County. My principal area of focus was in working with Global Fortune 500 companies that had the poise to expand. I assisted with over $1.2 billion in new investment in Oakland County creating nearly 5,000 new jobs by developing comprehensive strategies around global auto suppliers to enhance the supply chain. Experience in driving growth within the public and private sector through foreign direct investment with development and demonstrated success in strategic global markets, including South Korea, Japan, China, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, India, Dubai, Turkey, Israel, and Mexico.

The Eight Mile Boulevard Association (8MBA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and promotion of Eight Mile Road. The 8MBA revitalizes and promotes the Eight Mile transportation, business and residential corridor by linking the efforts of the public and private sectors.
