I am currently a freshman at Westfield State University as a Biology major with a Pre-Med concentration. I plan on receiving minors in both Music and Chemistry. Through WSU I will seek many opportunities for research in my particular field of study, academic growth, leadership experience, volunteering experience, as well as personal growth. I plan on obtaining my MD in order to pursue my passion for helping others and working in the healthcare field.At 16 years old I secured a job at Big Y World Class Market as a Cashier. I have maintained this position for 2 years working about 20 hours per week. When I turned 18, I was promoted to Customer Service Specialist. This role, among many other things, has shown me how to be a leader, stay organized, and nurture interpersonal relationships. In addition to this, I have maintained a position as Sterilization Assistant at Yanni Family Orthodontics since March of 2024. While working about 25 hours per week, this role has shown me the importance of cleanliness in healthcare roles as well as direct communication with patients.
