Alannah Robins is the founder and director of Interface residency and studio, in the Inagh Valley. Interface delivers a range of supports and opportunities to local and international artists as well as a dynamic year-round programme of events for audiences in Connemara.Alannah is a graduate of the NCAD and has an international interdisciplinary artistic practice of her own. She has won several commissions and awards for her artwork, including a public commission for the Waterford Institute of Technology, Tyresö Kulturstipendium, Helge Axe:son stipend and several awards from the Arts Council of Ireland. Recent exhibitions include Comfort Ye My People, Artlink Fort Dunree & Galleri Duerr, Stockholm; Behold, Altan Klamovka, Prague 2022; Spirit, Oblastni Galleri Liberec 2021; Carrying the Songs, Detroit Stockholm; The Half Light, Pasaj, Istanbul and Bach in the Water, with Cecilia Josefson, Galleri CC, Malmö, also Púca in the Machine, Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray 2022; the RHA, Dublin, London’s Dialogue Cultural Space, Tegen2, Detroit Stockholm and Kiruna Stadshus. Her work is found in collections including the Museum of European Art, Oblastni Galleri Liberec, Czech Republic and she is represented by Galleri Duerr, Stockholm.
