Working with University of California and Gemperle Family Farms, I participated in a six-month collaborative project that served as both a mini-internship and a graded class assignment. Working with a team of five class team devs, we developed an automation application to streamline the tree counting process on the farm. Our project was sponsored by the company, providing us with access to their farm and tree resources for practical implementation and testing. Throughout the engagement, we gained hands-on experience in software development, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving.
