Alan White brings more than 20 years of experience designing and managing strategic initiatives to generate actionable evidence-based recommendations related to Brand Equity, Client Loyalty, New Product Development, Communication Programs Assessment, Market Segmentation, Acquisition and Product Optimization, Marketing Effectiveness, and Outcomes Measurement initiatives. As an experienced insights practitioner and strategic group director, Alan has proven himself in meeting challenging and complex business goals, developing research, analytic and operational staff and business organizations, and creating strong relationships within client organizations. A high-performer with a passion for uncovering and promoting the voice of the customer and business optimization insights, Alan employs primary market research (qualitative and quantitative), secondary research and advanced data analytics to deliver actionable strategic recommendations. To do this effectively, efficiently and with confidence, Alan has been responsible for building the market research and data analytics team to support American Student Assistance’s (ASA’s) new mission. This has included designing and implementing a robust cloud data strategy and analytics governance practice, implementing, activating and migrating to a cloud-based data warehouse environment, designing new research capabilities and processes to enable real-time insight generation, marrying digital data such as Google Analytics, and an enterprise wide reporting and data visualization resource to enable KPI and operational effectiveness reporting that leverages these various data platforms.Prior to joining American Student Assistance, Alan redesigned and oversaw the Fidelity Greenline Forum, an online client insights community at Fidelity Investments consisting of more than 15,000 Fidelity Investments clients. This included creating strategic relationships with business stakeholders, analytic staff, and senior leadership across the organization. Before that, Alan directed research and analytics for the Personal Investments workspace as a Director of Research & Analytics supporting acquisition and customer segments. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Information Technology from Babson College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Kreibel Award for being the highest ranking graduate of Marketing disciplines. Alan is also a member of the American Marketing Association.
