Cannabist Company is a public company and a multi-state operator of cannabis licenses in the United States. Over the past 6 years, we experienced hyper-growth as revenue increased from $39M in 2018 to a runrate of >$400M in annual revenue, OVER 10x, organically from new licenses and through M&A. My primary focus is building, leading and motivating a centralized finance operations team to support our everyday activities in Treasury, AP, AR and Procurement. Triple Investment Group was a real estate investment group created to invest in local residential and commercial properties. In 2014, I co-founded TIG and raised seed money to capitalize and fund the launch of our acquisition strategies and create passive income. I’ve always dreamed of owning real estate and through this endeavor, I really enjoyed building some great local relationships. In 2019, all properties were sold.

New England Lab is a specialty subcontractor for laboratory construction. Product orders range from a single piece of lab furniture purchased through the e-commerce site, to design and install projects of multi-million dollar labs at universities or big pharma companies. After IPO in 2007, the successful adoption of Omnipod's innovative pump therapy for Type I diabetics created a period of rapid consumer growth for the business. It was successfully navigating the business through the challenges of this growth and choosing the right strategies that enabled us to continue to penetrate the market and beat the competition (even during the Great Recession of 2008/2009). Our FP&A team delivered accurate financial modeling, due diligence for M&A, budgeting, forecasting, and sales analytics to support the exponential growth in sales of OVER 20X from $13M in 2007 to $289M in 2014.I joined Insulet as Director of FP&A in early 2008 and developed into the role of Senior Director of Finance with additional responsibilities added in 2011 for Sales Ops. At Insulet, we designed and deployed Salesforce.com dashboards and used predictive analytics to monitor patient conversions in our sales pipeline, sales funnel and reorder cycle. When the Neighborhood Diabetes distribution business was acquired in 2011, I partnered with our General Manager to develop strategies for navigating the challenges related to price erosion as a result of the CMS competitive bid process. A core competency of our FP&A team was making actionable recommendations to ops leadership based on data analysis. We regularly monitored and interpreted key performance indicators (KPI's) to guide leaders forward with the execution of our operational plan.Because of my work at Insulet, my professional drive is forever rewired with a connection to the customer (in this business it was the patient with diabetes). I often reflect on my experiences here, and each time, I find a deeper appreciation for the patient. Today, this appreciation still fuels my passion and motivates me to find improvements that make our business better everyday.

I joined NaviSite after the dot com bubble. I worked with great people here as we leveraged the business to grow through mergers and acquisitions and also organically. We transitioned this business from negative cash-flow into positive EBITDA and achieved double digit yr/yr revenue growth. Our team prepared consolidated financials, earnings estimates and worked with banks to renegotiate debt covenants during several refinancing transactions as the business became more profitable. The business was eventually bought out by Time Warner. At Navisite, I was fortunate to build an FP&A team from the ground up. There was also opportunity to participate in the launch of the job seeking website AmericasJobExchange.com (which was owned and operated by NaviSite at the time.) I enjoyed this project and many others during my years working with the highly intellectual team at NaviSite.

I provided full P&L analysis along with providing corporate analytical support to our worldwide operating leaders in R&D and manufacturing. As a member of the cross-functional team to develop new business, successfully launched the Windows-based ftServer and technology licensing initiative. The management team coached me through the experience of our spin-off and equity recapitalization deals. Here, I was able to work directly with private equity teams from Investcorp and Deutsch bank to strengthen our financial position and gain market share in the high-end server market.
