Some of my most notable contributions are as follows:• Conceptualized and delivered a fleet of low-cost performance data logger systems, leading the development of all hardware, firmware, UI software (MATLAB), and databases, establishing a framework for big-data analytics in product field testing.• Elevated the Specialized retail and ownership experience through digital tools on Specialized.com, where physics-based algorithms run in the background, providing powerful insights for customers to get the best possible performance from Specialized bicycles.• Collaborated with design engineers to guide the development of mountain bike suspension layouts through dynamic simulations and kinematic optimization routines, and validated design decisions through controlled field testing with instrumented prototypes.• Worked closely with Specialized S-Racing athletes to optimize their bicycles performance for their race season.• Minimized redundant efforts and promoted collaborative scientific programming and software development by implementing Git source control within the engineering team. • Improved collaboration in product development by introducing Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira) in the engineering team, which ultimately became the company’s global standard for project management, issue tracking, and documentation.• Played a key role in the recruitment of 5 associate engineers and 9 engineering interns, and directly managed 3 interns through their 6-month rotations, each focusing on a large technical project with regular design reviews to track progress.
