Responsible for managing the Active Directory, Exchange, and Skype provisioning and deprovisioning process based on data from the HR system. Notable achievement during this time was preparing user accounts for migration to AzureAD/O365 and development of a process to support the mailbox move process from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft’s Exchange Online infrastructure. Also in support of the mailbox migration to O365, led an effort to develop a process for distribution group owners to manage their groups post migration to Exchange Online based on Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM). With the move to O365, worked with the product team to develop the process to license users for products such as Teams and OneDrive for Business based on business requirements around user acceptance of the rules of product use.

Responsible for managing a team of developers to support the Joiner, Mover, Leavers process for an estimated 120K user base. During this time, led the development of an automated process to manage desk phone number assignments for company personnel based on Microsoft Skype. This required coordinating development with team members in India along with a vendor working on the API for interfacing with telecom software.

Led a team of software engineers responsible for the deployment, support, and upgrade of Deloitte’s messaging platform based on Exchange, Blackberry, Goodlink, and Active Directory. This role later expanded to include a combined operations and engineering team to support the aforementioned products. This role required interfacing with our Operation Center to participate in technical support calls in order to troubleshoot issues and ensure prompt restoration of service for the supported products.

Team lead for a group of developers and support personnel responsible for managing Deloitte’s email directory. This included supporting the migration of cc:Mail to Exchange 5.5 as well as the development of an application for automating the management of email distribution groups based on HR data. An exceptional achievement during this time was leading the development of an automated process for Joiners and Leavers based on HR data using Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) for the provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts and mailboxes in Active Directory and Exchange.

Responsible for supporting Deloitte’s distributed cc:Mail directory, generating email messaging statistics, and leveraging Lotus Notes database to handle user provisioning requests. Code development was based on a combination of dBase, Clipper, and Visual Basic programming languages along with VIM and HiTest APIs.
