I thrive on working in challenging environments and have gained various outdoor qualifications including: Rope Access (IRATA Level 2 trained); HSE Diver trained; Dive Leader and Advanced Power Boat Handler to name but a few, as well as being a member of the British Mountaineering Council and training for my Mountain Leader Award. I love the outdoors and am extremely passionate about inspiring and encouraging both adults and children to take part in outdoor activities. When managing a team, I believe communication is key and I lead by example. I encourage people to shine and use their talents, empowering them as much as possible.Over the years, I have been extremely fortunate to have experienced an adventurous working life, which has taken me to some of the most remote parts of the world. Having previously worked in the TV & Film industry, I have had the opportunity to film both on set and on location, rigging complex set-ups in a forest, up a mountain, over a river or through a gorge, whilst capturing a whole range of unique footage. One of my greatest experiences included searching for Persian Leopards in Turkmenistan. After successfully setting up 20 camera traps in Badkhyz National Park and at the top of the Kopetdag mountain, I successfully captured lots of fantastic footage! After learning to sail, I bought a yacht, with a friend, for just £1. Situated in Bali and half under water we had our work cut out. We spent a few weeks fixing a number of issues before setting off on our adventure. We sailed around the Gili Isles, Lombok and Flores; where we climbed Mount Rinjani, swam with 3 metre manta rays, had an encounter with a Komodo dragon and to top it off, we dived off the island of Rinca, which had one of the most spectacular coral reefs I have ever seen. It was so full of life and the colours were spectacular! This is where my love and passion for the outdoors really came to life.

Sectors included: Corporate; Charity; Educational and EU funded projects.BBC Media Action, formerly known as the BBC World Service Trust approached BTTP Films to provide training and teaching in natural history film-making for the Turkmenistan National Television Service. The BBC were working in Turkmenistan as part of a three year project to help improve their television output, with aims to introduce some independent journalism. I travelled to Turkmenistan on a number of occasions to train camera operators and producers and filmed in some of their most spectacular locations. We set up twenty camera traps in Badghyz National Park, a desert and steppe region situated directly on the boarder of Afghanistan, where we successfully captured the illusive Persian Leopard and numerous other species of wildlife. I also had the absolute pleasure of working with Sir David Attenborough to produce a short film for the Herefordshire Nature Trust, focusing on their scheme of ‘Wildplay’ and endangered wildlife. Working on a film or documentary shoot has a variety of roles:• Research & development of the film/documentary subject.• Calculating budget.• Organise location/s for filming, arranging for the film crew to be available for specified days.• Organise transport, including flights, 4x4s and minibuses.• Organise fixers at both National and International locations.• Organise film equipment: cameras, sound equipment, batteries, drones and rigging equipment.• Check all necessary paperwork: passports; carnets, risk assessments; first aid, insurances and medevac services.• First Aid equipment-relevant to location.• 2-way radios, GPS & SAT Phones.
