• Liaise with Quality team to ensure product testing and qualification deadlines are achieved. Attend weekly quality team meetings which highlight product issues, and work with the team to facilitate testing requirements. • Daily reporting to Quality team of product integrity as processed through the lab, including first level failure & root cause analysis. • Liaise with Quality team to design testing or experiments in response to new qualifications or product issues. • Day to day supervision of lab team - daily workload, future planning, and team performance.• Ensure annual lab activities and spend are controlled under a strict budgetary model.

• Repair and maintenance of tool sets in the R&D laboratory. Install and debug of new tools. • Monitor processes and highlight any product quality related issues to the appropriate divisions. Assist with product quality investigations and implement resulting corrective actions• Support NPIs (New Product Introductions) to the lab and perform new tool buyoffs as requested. • Software upgrades - Windows Operating Systems, tool software and virus protection. Manage and verify regular backups to all lab PCs and systems.• Preventative Maintenance on all tool sets – including creation and logging of PM schedules. • Calibration of tool sets in the laboratory, liaising with onsite calibration laboratory and national standards laboratory to ensure data accuracy & traceability• Coordination with external vendors for service contracts.• Spare parts and consumables management through SAP.• A working knowledge of Hyperion to verify network functionality and data retrieval • Adherence to all health & safety regulations, licensing requirements etc. Ensure CE compliance across all lab tool sets.
