These projects usually included connecting the company's old files to their new ERP system that was upgraded in early 2017. The largest project I worked was creating a new Earned Value Management system for the Project Managers that deal with multi-million dollar contracts. I was able to create and design a robust file that allowed managers to enter their project information in, then simply refresh the data from their ERP to show how well a project was performing on a budgetary and scheduling basis. Originally built for one department, the system was well received and expanded and customized for another department, with a third department interested in using it as well.I also created several reports that combined the old and new ERPs to compare closed and ongoing contract costs, analyzed labor hours across employees, and other smaller quality of life improvements for departments. -
Treasury Analyst InternIdaho State University Feb 2016 - May 2017Id, UsAs a Treasury Analyst Intern, I handled a variety of projects for the University. These included the University's investments, real estate property, certain budgets and tax reporting, as well as creating visuals for University and State Board executives. Because of my work, I won "Intern of the Month" for Oct '17. A link to the article can be found below.One of my most important projects was creating a callable database for all of the University's real property. Before this project, all documentation was hard copy only, which meant faculty and staff did not have a consistent idea about the University's property. The database I created not only provides up to date and accurate information. Any questions faculty or staff might have can be quickly answered by the Treasury Services Department.Another project I worked on was creating an automated unrelated business income (UBI) tax tool. Using excel macros and pivot tables, UBI reporting has never been more consistent and accurate. It also shortens the time it takes to get the report to the IRS by several months. -

Around 30 students are tutors and helpers in local schools in order to better help Pocatello's children learn. This program helps those pursuing an Education Major prepare for their own teaching, while benefiting children as well. As their manager, I kept in contact with them constantly, answering questions when I could and kept track of their logged hours that they reported every two weeks. Furthermore I also coordinated with these local schools to place new tutors and performed quality checks with principals to make sure tutors were performing well. I also wrote the following business plan to start getting these interns to private tutor children here on campus.
