I help business owners, interior designers and private clients to get the right artwork on to their walls that reflects their business brand, their passions, the theme of their room, office or hotel complex. I have received numerous private commissions including over 30 for the government in Oman.I produce paintings which are representational but not photographic. I’m concerned with capturing the light and the fleeting moment in time for which watercolour is ideally suited. I like to paint beach scenes, people and cities, particularly pre 20th century architecture and the hustle and bustle of street life. Working on location in Italy, America, the west coast of Scotland, Henley Royal Regatta and the Middle East has brought a creative sense of fluency to my painting.Over the years I have received a number of portrait commissions in oil paints. One of my clients who has commissioned a portrait of each of his 5 children said that "this project has far exceeding his expectations".I was winner of "The Artist's Prize" in the Royal Watercolour Society Competition 2013 with my painting of "Jebel Akhdar, Oman".My subject specialties include: LandscapesCityscapes and ArchitectureSeascapesFigurativePortraitsShipsSport including Rugby and Football StadiumsPainting holidays in Italy.
