As a member of Ink, Carta’s design system, I’m always driving consistency in our components. Notably, I led a massive iconography refresh (design and development), built tools to track component usage across products, revamped the documentation in our Figma toolkit, and implemented a contribution model to enable others to add to our design system. Currently leading the charge for AI-powered UX components and a brand overhaul across all products.

Building the future of A.I. and music production software, with an ethical and artist-centered approach. More specifically, designing our breakthrough plugin Emergent Drums, with the help of direct user feedback from our amazing Discord group, who are integral to the design and development process. Also designed and built the website, the Deep Sampler alpha (React), and internal tools using a mix of React and NextJS.

As part of the Shopifolk, our goal was to improve the app development experience for developers and merchants. I accomplished this by wearing a variety of UX hats: planned and conducted multiple user research studies, designed and developed design tools and prototypes with NextJS and Remix (ReactJS), and shipped UX features improving the authentication experience for app developers

On the MetaOS design team, we led an initiative to unify common components across Office, Teams and Windows. I built and maintained a robust React prototype that served as a design sandbox for rapid iteration and prototyping, as well as a "North Star" for cross-product collaboration. This prototype served as the primary decision-making tool for design and engineering leadership teams.

On the Cortana Design team, I built advanced voice-enabled tools, websites, and AI prototypes. Recognized as a top performer, I swiftly advanced within six months. Notably, I shipped assistive voice experiences for Outlook and Teams mobile apps and explored cutting-edge iterations of Cortana, including LLMs, 3D modeling and printing, and A.I. and computer vision prototyping.

I led the transition of Outlook Web App to modern web frameworks. I developed internal design tools to redefine the management of design assets within Office. Additionally, I created complex communication prototypes in React and iOS (Swift) for envisioning, research, and product reviews. These achievements, coupled with exceptional mentorship, led to my promotion and title change.

I joined the team as a visual designer on a contract basis, and my exceptional work led to a full-time position. My role evolved, and I embraced a hybrid visual/UX approach, designing and shipping a diverse range of features, including the notification system, settings, and themes. Eventually, I moved to a product designer role, researching communication trends to develop innovative in-house apps.

FUSE is the name of the design studio for Xbox LIVE, with a wide range of responsibilities. My role(s) ran the whole gamut, from branding the team itself (my very first project) to producing assets for MSN Games and the Xbox Dashboard to branding upcoming games, events and promotions to helping with the redesign of Xbox.com.

My role working with SiteCrafting was to assist in the iteration of their design process. I created high fidelity website mockups for various industries and demographics, produced email marketing campaigns, and designed interfaces for web applications.

While at E&A, I designed brand systems and websites for varying local businesses, including the international printing group, Leo Paper. This included communicating directly with the clients, from kickoff to handoff.
