Responsible for all Digital transformation and Information Technology projects. During the last 6 months all infrastructure has been moved to Microsoft Azure (AAD, Intune, VMs, Keyvault & Azure Data Factory) and Office 365 along with an AI based vehicle inspection application and client facing customer portal. Current projects include deployment of Dynamic 365 Sales, Power BI Reporting, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server and Power App Pages.

During my time with the Winson Group I have moved the company from having a disparate architecture of adhoc solutions to one that is fully running on Microsoft Azure cloud services. This has included upgrading the ERP system, rolling out business intelligence solutions including Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement, Field Service, Microsoft Security model (ATP,ATA) and at the same time streamlined processes across the organization.All of the platforms are migrated to Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Office 365 and we are currently in the process of implementing Teams to replace our IP Telephony System.The company now has a state of the art cloud platform to support future growth. This has been delivered by using careful project management and my background of deep technical understanding blended with business understanding and people management skills.

CQMS were in a period of transition when I joined the company to oversee the Information Technology transformation for the group. The majority of the team I managed had only recently been recruited and there was very little knowledge and documentation in the group. A failed outsourcing of infrastructure and communications as well as the delivery of a business intelligence platform were key objectives during the first 6 months. These were delivered using standard methodologies (PRINCE2 & ITIL3).The IT department for the group was developed into a business aligned function assisting and providing underlying technologies that supported the growth and change of a dynamic company.Microsoft virtualisation technologies and software platforms include Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services, SQL Server and SharePoint were introduced to provide a cohesive and reliable platform.Reporting directly to the CEO I assisted in a number of business transformations providing technical insight and direction on emerging technologies.

Reporting directly to the CFO I was responsible for migrating all systems and processes away from the previous parent company under a Transitional Service Agreement. This included the replacement of all infrastructure, desktops, communications and ERP system. SAP was replace with Lawson M3 (Movex) to ensure that business processes were underpinned with a fit for purpose, aligned solution. Responsible for a team of internal and external experts and using a PRINCE2 framework a robust migration plans for developed and implemented to ensure that the TSA was closed out before significant costs were incurred by the business.A new IT team was recruited and developed during my time with the group and this provided a rewarding time of career development and knowledge gain for a tightly business aligned team.As well as introducing all of the solutions for the business and outsourcing of some of the critical operations I was responsible for a number of in-house development solutions around manufacturing, finance and human resource solutions.
