I am currently working part time in the Maryland Army National Guard and full time as a Network Engineer at Bechtel; where I install, operate, and troubleshoot IP based nodal systems, integrated network control centers, communications security(COMSEC) devices, and other equipment associated with network and nodal operations. I graduated McDaniel College with a degree in Computer Science with skills in JAVA, HTML, CSS, and Java Script. I completed two Software Developer Internships where I was able to apply those skills to real world projects with Leidos. My professional goal is utilize my education and work experience (knowledge, skills and abilities) within a dynamic team of professionals and seek a career involving computer technology with a focus in networking and or programming.

GAIT is a colorless (transport) MPLS network that connects each of the Army Regional Hub Nodes (RHNs), multiple DoD Teleports (SATCOM only), and other points of presence together in support of a global tactical network.I setup, troubleshoot and understand: Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), MPLS Layer 3 VPN, Multicast, switch technologies, and Riverbed wide area network (WAN) accelerators. I also use and maintain Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN) within the network.I use Ansible to run playbooks/.YML files to generate mission packets and device configurations. As well as edit the .YML files when new devices and subnets are added to the network.
