Musically speaking, I have roughly 25 years of experience playing the guitar. I have studied the guitar with such great reputations as Masakazu Ito (over 15 years), who is co-director of the classical guitar program at Denver University, and Alex Komodore who teaches at Metro State College. I have taken jazz improvisation instruction by the respected Hugh Ragin and attended Berklee Music College in Boston for a brief period of time. I believe this background has helped me become experienced enough in music and guitar to teach and perform at an advanced level. I have been teaching and performing on both classical and electric guitar for about 20 years.I have over 10 years of marketing experience in operating my own business through promotion, advertising, and contacting new customer leads. I am constantly finding new and effective ways for advertising through print media, customer referal programs, internet, professional group boards etc. I have several years of basic accounting experience in operating my guitar and music studio.Specialties: Music instruction, classical guitar pedagogy, music theory, right and left hand techniques, improvisation, composition, basic music principals such as rhythm, tone, dynamics etc., ear training and sight reading, as well as effective techniques in how to memorize music.
