As a manager, one of my main goals is to promote teamwork and set examples for my direct reports as well as my peers. I feel that this atmosphere encourages each individual to improve their problem solving skills by listening and learning from each other. Also as a manager, I am aware that the performance of my workers does indeed directly reflect on my ability to manage and stay in touch with all aspects of my department. As a worker, my main goal is to complete assigned projects with the thoroughness expected of any employer as well as added expedience and attention to detail I expect of myself. I have received many awards because of these traits. I believe in loyalty toward my employer and their mission statement. I appreciate a professional, courteous work atmosphere where both learning and teamwork are recognized and encouraged on a daily basis by all levels of management.
