True Innovations, a China based furniture manufacturing, design and logistics business became the industry leader in first to market design and scaled China based manufacturing of innovative, stylish, and branded home and office furniture. While living in Hong Kong and China, Alan grew the company to become the market leader in office furnishings sold to big-box retailers in the United States, Canada, UK and Mexico under Lazyboy, Broyhill, Thomasville, Lane, and Serta's licensed brand names. Customers included Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Office Max, Office Depot and Staples. The company led in supply chain innovation by establishing the first stocking program for drop shipping of full containers reducing shipping lead times from China from 60 to 15 days. Shipping volumes reached just under 800 containers monthly with 3 manufacturing plants and over 3,000 workers in China, a design center in Hangzhou China with over 100 employees, a Hong Kong based accounting and logistics center and a US based sales, customer service and design office.
