With a penchant for real estate, Alan identified a new opportunity in 2012, establishing True Investments, a real estate private equity firm with a mandate to buy, renovate, manage, and lease single-family residential properties in select markets across the United States. The principals collectively deployed over $1 billion in real estate assets and brought a disciplined approach and expertise in sourcing, underwriting, and managing properties, resulting in high current cash yields. True Investments also built cash-flowing portfolios that delivered compelling returns and acted as a hedge against inflation. In entertainment, True Family Enterprises has made significant investments in founding and growing Volume Ventures, an independent entertainment company, that provides comprehensive music and video production, promotion, publishing, representation and consultation for established and aspiring recording artists, songwriters, musicians, and videographers.
