I am a Texas A&M Mechanical Engineering graduate with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. As a mechanical engineering degree holder, I am of course adept at everything from calculating how long it will take a stick to fall over, to designing systems with a factor of safety that is greater than one. In addition to everything that I learned in school, I spend my time outside of class to expand my horizons in other ways. I have a vivid memory of getting home from a robotics competition and immediately taking apart the robot to build a new one from scratch. It wasn't that we had performed poorly, in fact we had won the competition, but I had seen the shortcomings of the robot and was brimming with ideas to improve the design. That feeling of facing a fresh challenge with creative and fun ideas is something I pursue constantly and is what motivates me to not only be a better mechanical engineer, but also to learn how to solve any type of problem that comes my way.As an enjoyer of making things, I also started my own business, in which I was able to hone my product design and development skills. Through this venture, I am able to satisfy my urge to optimize things to the point of being able to sell, while still being able to work on my own projects for fun, and with a bit more jank of course. Overall, I am an engineer who loves to get hands on, and I am constantly looking for new ways to challenge myself and learn new things!
