Since 1 July 2019 I have been engaged by Infrastructure NSW as Director, Project Risk. In this role I am responsible for the maintenance and coordination of risk management procedures applicable to infrastructure projects for which the Projects NSW team is responsible and liaison with senior management and project leaders.From March 2014 until 30 June 2019 I was the Chief Audit Executive of the Barangaroo Delivery Authority. I was responsible for management of the internal audit function and supervising risk management processes including liaison between the Authority’s senior executive team and the Audit & Risk Management Committee. On 30 June 2019, the Barangaroo Delivery Authority was wound up and its operations were transferred to Infrastructure NSW.My career in audit & risk management has spanned 30 years beginning with my roles at Greenwood Challoner & Co., subsequently acquired by Deloitte in 1999. From there I helped create and develop the Deloitte Forensic which has now become one of the leading forensic practices in Australia. My final role at Deloitte was as CFO of the Financial Advisory business unit, with over 600 partners and staff and turnover approaching $200 million. As Chief Financial Officer, I project managed the acquisition and integration of a number of key businesses acquired by Deloitte including Access Economics, Capland Real Estate and the Australian operations of SAHA International to achieve expected synergies.
