Before working with Shaw Business, I was with the residential team, where I supported an even more vast array of products, across two separate account systems.

Responsible for desktop, laptop and tablet repairs and setup, customer interaction at the Geek bench, sales and supporting their in-store team. I also was responsible for applying clearplex screen protectors, and taking care of mobile setups and issues the mobile team were unable to diagnose and fix. I consistently received weekly accolades thanks to customers taking part in Best Buy’s NPS survey system. I was generally responsible for either solo opening or closing the Geek Precinct, maintaining its security, integrity and safety in the process. I did not miss a single day working here. I loved my coworkers and still have a lot of enthusiasm for the brand.

Home, business and remote support, for those in my local area requiring technical assistance, repair, file recovery, security and upgrades.I dealt with consultation and rollout of new systems for a major government body.On a short term contracted basis, I oversaw the IT operations of several offices. A government building, a manufacturing warehouse and many local businesses.I taught Windows, Mac, Android and IOS skills to the elderly through community centres and residential care homes I reached out to.

I took inbound technical support calls for the leading cable broadband service in the UK. It was my second time working in this building, working with many colleagues I had worked with in AOL, and worked through one of the worst winters the UK had ever seen.My role involved helping individuals suffering from broadband disconnection, wifi issues, computer problems and more. I would log the problem, the resulting fix, and move onto the next call. My first-time fix rate was considerably higher than average, thus I was given second-level overflow.

I was a technical support agent for Dell, based in City Park, Glasgow, specializing in the Optiplex and Inspiron line. I worked here for three years, achieving mostly accolades relating to VOC (voice of the customer, Dell's after-call survey). I also picked up several DCSE certifications, and consistently held an almost unrivalled first-time fix rate.

My first role. I began taking inbound orders for a television shopping channel (Express Shopping Channel) and was quickly transitioned to a technical role due to a background of tech from my early teens. My biggest achievement when working here was generating a fix for a modem driver update that the AOL gateway managed to cause issues with. I transitioned again from dial-up to broadband, and from broadband to early wi-fi and gaming support, while taking second level calls. While working here, it was suggested to me that I should get my tech industry qualifications and move on to bigger and better things. That brought me to my next role.
