Owner of Allure Quest Travel Experience - a full-service travel consultation agency designed for those who want to get away for an unbelievable adventure, but have neither the time nor the know-how to make it happen.

As Senior Editor led the transformation of Tennessean.com from a single website to approximately 17 sites. Created training system resulting in 50-plus employees gaining video shooting/production experience and quadrupling website video, as well as audio and photo slide shows. Created several time-saving and content-enhancing efficiencies that also contributed to Web and data collections departments growth, resulting in increased staff and Web traffic, often to nearly 1 million daily hits. Supervised staff of approximately 100. Responsibilities included administration of the newsroom's $15 million budget, directing sports coverage (Tennessean.com was nationally recognized as the best website for coverage and analysis of the Tennessee Titans) and departmental operations including visuals (photo, graphics and design) and all copy desk editing functions.

As News Editor directed daily news coverage at ESPN, including SportsCenter and ESPNews. Worked with team of 50-plus reporters and analysts, 18 field producers and 13 assignment editors to coordinate news and event coverage (i.e. Super Bowl, World Series, etc.). Responsible for proofing scripts from field to insure readiness for shows, and editing show rundowns to assure accuracy, style and substance. Maintained highest levels of journalism while making sure ESPN's brand and entertainment value are consistent. Responsible for advancing stories, maximizing viewership and increasing ratings. Part of 2003 & 2004 Emmy-winning SportsCenter staff.
