Advising start-ups, bank distribution companies & fund etablishment entities.

• Maximising the revenue/return value of all Wealth related deposits/liquid investments held within BT and to maximise/increase the funding contribution of the Wealth business to the Group.• Accountability for the management and revenue generated from all Platform cash offerings (customer term deposits and transactional cash hubs of the Platform business: >30% of the business’s revenue) including substantive discretionary pricing oversight for these.• Production and ownership of BTFG’s Liquidity Risk Framework and BTFG’s Liquidity Crisis Plan• Delivery of cash related strategies to customers, Dealer Groups and the distribution teams.• Delivery, oversight and execution of all balance sheet strategies to ensure Group targets met.• Ownership for the delivery, in an Agile / Six Sigma environment, many significant projects in relation to, for example, launching new products and capturing additional value for customer deposits.• Oversight and establishment of BTFG Asset & Liability Committee (BTFG ALCO).• Representative on all Group Product & Pricing Committees and all Balance Sheet related committees: Including reviewing the Group’s Asset & Liability Committee’s (Group ALCO) monthly papers for the executive team.Achievements;• Identified, developed and obtained approval (Boards, Investment Committees, and Group Product Committees etc.) for the creation of many new Funds and new Products/restructured Product offerings to customers.• Delivered in every year all key Platform cash related revenue metrics and all balance sheet metrics for BTFG.• Achieved SME knowledge on transfer pricing, APS210/NSFR, liquidity, and balance sheet management of a retail bank.• Established a monthly BTFG ALCO reporting Capital and Balance Sheet reporting including margin management, customer related balance sheet strategies and the optimisation of capital required.

• Manage the Group Treasury function of a rapidly expanding business (Baiada, one of the largest privately owned companies in Australia), including daily cash flow management & forecasting and the approval of all payments made.• Integrating the Treasury functions resulting from the acquisition of Bartter Enterprises and the management of GE’s largest invoice discounting facility.• Manage all banking relationships and the foreign exchange strategies for capital expenditure.• Execution of ASX Grain related futures strategy.Achievements• Developed and established a fully integrated treasury function across the Baiada Group incorporating all entities after the ACCC approved the purchase of Bartter Enterprises• Developed and delivered strategic enhanced cash flow management & forecasting tools to the business enabling further, and significant, capital expenditure whilst meeting all payment obligations on time.• Initiated and executed an increased creditor day strategy via improved payment terms with major suppliers resulting in an additional $10m+ in positive cash flow from timing differences.

• Establish a new function and build a high performing team (10+) to ensure the appropriate management and oversight of cash related reporting, controls and oversight. In addition to management a several project related teams.• Design, deliver and operationalise a solution to address an enforceable undertaking from ASIC in relation to interfunding between statutory funds (60+).• Production and ownership of CommInsure’s Liquidity Crisis Plan• Finance sign off and execution for all Product system rationalisations (circa $1bn+ in FUM).• Manage all banking relationships and capture additional value from cash/liquid related capital holdings.Achievements• Addressed the enforceable undertaking with ASIC via the new cash control processes and obtained further approval for a new measurement for ‘cash at bank’ from APRA; removing an ongoing technical breach of PR18.• Delivered a robust macro to produce the monthly close out journal for the ledger; the final finance journal of 1,000+ entries to settle all interfunding balances.• Achieved substantial revenue uplift through improved cash flow management and the implementation of alternative capital related cash investment strategies.
