Mobile software development with a focus on data-driven access and aggregation with an eco-friendly social networking component (whenever possible or anticipated).

The fledgling start-up had a goal of creating a Ruby on Rails server of startup company information for use by individuals seeking employment and for companies seeking to candidates. Android and/or iOS applications were in the works as client-side access tools.

The Nile Project is based on early work by The Life Tie organization success. The Nile Project has a focus on corporate transparency, especially as related to corporate giving and donations. The initial work included creating a Rub on Rails front-end with initial Android support. iOS development was also a desired platform for client-side access.

Application development for next-generation mobile devices.- Worked on the custom Motorola Contacts application.- (Currently) Next-generation interface work.

Senior designer of Eclipse-based plug-in tool development for the mobile device environment. The tool allowed developers to create XML-based mobile widget content, which also used JavaScript/E4X for scripting support. Developers could edit their content and then "play" it in the Sun Wireless Toolkit (WTK), a BREW emulator and a Research In Motion BlackBerry simulator side-by-side to write widget content once for multiple platforms.

- Primary software engineer on Project Relator, a prototype of a drag-and-drop tool to tie open-standard, scalable vector graphics (SVG) technology to Java code. Project Relator was a highlight of JavaOne 2003.- Continued to work with SVG technology in the mobile space, helping to promote SVG content in the mobile space using SVG Tiny 1.1/1.2 prototypes (JSR 226). Also worked with full SVG using Batik to promote SVG graphics on the desktop clients.- Worked in MIDp group on media portions (MMS, SMS, WMA) and with SVG Tiny to tie SVG interfaces to more mobile applications. Worked briefly with web services parts of MIDp, also.- Worked briefly with codec evaluation and integration into Java applications in preparation for use in upcoming project, Java FX.
