Potato Farm Model in MagicDraw (August-December 2017)- Modeled Potato Farm from The Martian by Andy Weir with a team consisting of 3 undergraduates- Analyzed and decomposed system into three parts and with multiple sub-systems- Responsible for the water production part which was made up of four sub-systems- Identified key information and created block diagram, value properties, and constraint equations for each sub-system- Coordinated with team to match value properties with constraint equations between parts- Created instance of the entire system and tested validity of results with ParamagicRover Simulation Plugin & Learning+Feedback on SysML Exercises (January-May 2018)- Developed virtual simulation space for IPRE rovers in Calico Python- Integrated the virtual simulation space into an existing MagicDraw plugin using Java- Tested functionality with activity diagrams in MagicDraw- Learned how to use Cameo Simulation Toolkit (CST) from a tutorial and gave constructive feedback- Utilized SysML and MBSE techniques in Magic Draw to model a ski resort from user point-of-view- Worked through 3 separate exercises using SysML in MagicDraw with a Ski-resort as the test case- Created requirements from rules and policies for the 1st exercise- Created reusable block representations of the users, peaks, trails, and lifts for the 2nd exercise- Created parametric equations to keep track of user population in each area of the Ski-resort for the 3rd exerciseBoeing Model Complexity and Health Management (August-December 2018)- Use Graph Theory to analyze model- Identify key parameters for model functionality- Interfaced with stakeholders and consultants to narrow goals
