About Alasdair Howe

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA honours degree (2:1) in Human Geography. As part of this degree, I also completed studies in history, social anthropology and physical geography. I have also obtained an MSc in Human Resource Management (68%) from the University of EdinburghBetween 2008-2012 I held various voluntary and temporary positions, including classroom assistant at Aboyne Academy, visit day guide for the University of Edinburgh and assistant greenkeeper at Torphins Golf Club.In November 2013 I spent some time shadowing HR staff in the ConocoPhillips Head Office in Aberdeen. As of January 2014, I am working as the HR / Personnel Coordinator for the UK subsidiary of the Norwegian surveying company, iSURVEY. During this time I will be taking up full CIPD membership (currently an associate member) and working towards qualifications through them.Outside of work, I was the president of the Edinburgh University American Football Club for 2 years (2011-13) and the Club Secretary for the Aberdeen Roughnecks American Football Team for 4 years.
