APL is a startup subsidiary of Alaska Packaging Inc, which is AK's largest locally owned provider of perishable shipping materials to the seafood industry.

The Alaska Wilderness Recreation & Tourism Association (AWRTA) is a members-driven trade association formed to be a collective voice for wilderness-dependent businesses. We advocate for the sustainability of Alaska's natural and cultural resources, responsible tourism and tourism planning for communities. My job is to bring value to members, grow membership, and be an advocate for wilderness-dependent firms.

TaskKlock is a touchscreen-based software tool for small manufacturers and service providers that tracks time and materials by task, so you know real costs in real time and get a real look at what’s happening on the shop floor. Since 1999.We answer the questions: - Which jobs are making me money, and which are dogs? - Are my bids accurate? - How can I stop running around looking for the status of that job?- How can I maintain profits without raising prices?- How can I gain control without spending a lot or disrupting production?You may not like the answers, but your business will be better for it. TaskKlock was born on the shop floor of our manufacturing firm Alaskan Wood Moulding, so we understand your needs because we live it on a daily basis.

Worked with Alaska-based manufacturers to lower their costs, improve quality and build their businesses. I restructured this non-profit economic development AMEP from a staff of 11 public service workers into a four-person revolving loan fund. This shifted funds from non-value-added overhead and put it into the hands of private sector clients who grew manufacturing in Alaska. Lower costs, more results.

Managed sales and marketing for this new spin-off lodging and tour company with facilities in Denali National Park. Developed new products, built new sales channels, and created branding. Company value grew 500% as a result.

Developed and implemented a broad-based marketing program for this premier ecotourism operator. Focus was on planning, tracking, and reducing costs as a % of revenue while building markets. I took the mystery out of marketing and tightened up spending.
