Position consisted of working alongside regional wildlife biologists to track threatened northern long-eared bat populations and aid in other working projects alongside the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.

I took part in the 2014 Summer Research Program in Ecology at Harvard Forest, a Long-Term Ecological Research site managed by Harvard University. During the program, I developed an independent research project on the effects of nutrient availability on productivity and carbon storage in recently cleared sites. Additional program requirements consisted of conducting data collection in the field for the Williams lab group project, data-entry and analysis, and a capstone presentation at the annual student symposium at Harvard Forest.

The University Register is the official student newspaper at the University of Minnesota, Morris. I have been the Managing Editor for the past two years out of my three years of involvement with the paper. This position consists of managing newspaper staff during layout nights, making executive decisions about the newspaper alongside the Editor-in-Chief, approving pages for printing, contributing to design elements and content, and training in new staff members.
